Per-Erik Adamsson

Per-Erik Adamsson (flute) was educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He is frequently engaged as a chamber musician and has for many years been a member of Omnibus Chamber Winds, which has toured Europe, South America and the United States.

Per-Erik has a background as a rock drummer and spent his adolescence playing Swedish folk music alongside with his classical flute studies, which makes him the “all-style” super flutist.

Per-Erik is also a physician and a professional photographer.


Michael Niesmann

Michael Niesemann (oboe and saxophones) was educated at the Cologne State Music College and have since then had a brilliant career as solo-oboist with J.E.Gardiner’s English Baroque Soloists and Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique.

Michael is a professor in baroque oboe at the Würtsburg University and is a member of the Musica Antiqua Köln. He plays saxophone in different jazz and avant-garde projects, and he can improvise on the oboe like no one else.

Michael is also deeply interested in Indian philosophy.


Johan Söderlund

Johan Söderlund (clarinet and bass clarinet) studied classical clarinet at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the University of Southern California/Los Angeles for among others Yehuda Gilad and Michele Zukovsky.

Johan works as a free-lance performer as well as being a member of the Swedish Wind Ensemble. Johan is one of the very few classically trained clarinet players with exceptional credibility and sense of style also within the genre of jazz.

Johan is also an exceptionally good chef.


Arne Löthman

Arne Löthman (electric- and 12-stringed guitar) studied classical guitar at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, and have since then led his own groups, mainly within the jazz genre, and foremost featuring his own compositions. He is highly appreciated for his innovative talent in improvisation, and has played with numerous jazz artists such as Eje Thelin, Kenny Wheeler, Nisse Landgren and Art Lande.

Arne has written a lot of music for the theatre and composed a great deal of chamber music for various musicians and ensembles such as the Nordic Chamber Orchestra. And he is the main composer of the Heavy Breeze-repertoire.

Arne is also a horse farmer in his spare time.


Mats Bergström

Mats Bergström (classical guitar) got his Master of Fine Arts degree at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He made his international solo debut in Wigmore Hall, London, and has since then held a position as one of Sweden’s finest soloists and chamber musicians.

Mats is one of the few guitarists that manage to combine exceptional skills in playing classical guitar with a genuine feel for jazz music.

Mats also plays the electric rock’n’roll guitar.


Jenny Kristoffersson

Jenny Kristoffersson (double bass and electric bass) was educated at the Gothenburg Music College. Jenny mainly plays double bass in various jazz constellations.

She is also frequently involved in a diversity of musical projects with ensembles ranging from symphony orchestra to rock bands, as a player, arranger and composer.

Jenny is also a fine cellist.



Anders Haag

Anders Haag (percussion) is the Solo Timpani Player of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. He got his musical education in Stockholm at the Royal College of Music, where he now teaches the art of playing timpani.

Anders started out as a drummer before he got into the world of classical music, and he is always keen on performing in different genres. Anders is a member of the multi-national percussion group “Glorious Percussion” with which he will be featured soloist with the Berliner Philharmoniker during “musikfest berlin 09”.

Anders is also an eager euphonium player and a sailor.
